1. Site content
Portfolio content is provided as-is for information. Project names, prices, and timelines on the Shop page are estimates; a written/Discord quote for your order controls.
2. Commissions — scope
Work is limited to the features agreed in the quote. New features after quote acceptance may require a new price and timeline. Minimum order: $15.
3. Payment
Payment schedule (deposit, milestones, final) is confirmed before build starts. Deposits cover early design/build time. Unpaid invoices pause delivery.
4. Refunds
Once work has started, deposits are generally non-refundable. If Monstie cancels before delivery, prepaid amounts for unfinished work are refunded. Chargebacks for delivered work may result in license revocation and denial of future service.
5. Delivery & revisions
Delivery includes the agreed bot functionality and a reasonable polish/revision window. “Reasonable” means bugfixes and small UX tweaks within scope — not a redesign or new feature set.
6. Source code & license
Unless you purchase source code ownership, you receive a license to use the delivered bot for your server(s), not ownership of the codebase, and not the right to resell the bot as a product. With source ownership, transfer terms are confirmed at sale.
7. Hosting & maintenance
Hosting setup and monthly maintenance are optional add-ons. Outages caused by Discord API changes, upstream hosts, or client misconfiguration are not automatic refunds; maintenance clients get priority fixes.
8. Acceptable use
Bots will not be built for spam, raids, malware, scraping private data without consent, or clear violations of Discord’s Terms of Service. Monstie may refuse or cancel such work.
9. Ectoplasm & other products
Ectoplasm and other public products have their own terms on their sites. Commission work does not grant rights to Ectoplasm’s brand, assets, or codebase.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, liability for commission work is limited to fees paid for that order. The portfolio site and free tools (Blinker, etc.) are provided without warranty.
